One of the primary way the church grows in any culture is through the planting of new churches.  Though we support several missions in other cultures that include new church plants in their work, we also support efforts in our own culture that seek to plant churches in areas where there are fewer churches or areas where the church has deteriorated in strength for some cultural or other reason.  Sometimes that is in an area of the country where churches have been falling on hard times, or sometimes that is in areas where population has shifted or changed in such a manner that new works need to fill the void created by the changes in population patterns.
